Nigerian youngster Sani Suleiman is drawing major transfer interest from top European clubs after a breakout season with Slovak side AS Trenčín.

The 19-year-old forward, who left Akwa United for Europe in July 2024, has been one of Nigeria’s most promising prospects since joining the Slovak club.

His consistent performances for both club and country have caught the attention of scouts from across the continent.

Sources close to the player have confirmed that several clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, Brentford, Paris Saint-Germain, and Ajax, are monitoring his situation.

While no deal has been finalised, AS Trenčín are reportedly in active discussions with multiple suitors.

“Yeah, there are lots of offers for the boy. I know the club are discussing with other clubs,” a source told Soccernet.ng.

When pressed about Suleiman’s next move, the insider added, “I think he prefers England. But he’ll have to look at all these offers and see which one suits him at his age. It’s a great opportunity for him to keep developing.”

Suleiman, who has starred for Nigeria’s U-20 national team, has drawn praise for his pace, close control, and composure in front of goal.

His displays at the just ended U-20 World Cup have further raised his profile, with The Hard Tackle reporting that Tottenham scouts watched him closely during the tournament.

Reports from SportsBoom suggest PSG and Ajax have also joined the race, while Brentford’s recruitment team has maintained contact with Trenčín officials.

Suleiman remains under contract with the Slovak side until June 2026, giving Trenčín strong negotiating power as interest continues to grow.

For now, the Nigerian teenager is keeping his focus on having a strong season.
