Tottenham Hotspur has reportedly initiated discussions with Brentford over a potential move for DR Congo forward Yoane Wissa.
The in-form attacker has drawn interest from multiple clubs, including Nottingham Forest, but Spurs have now entered the race and are in talks with both Brentford and the 28-year-old.
Wissa joined Brentford from Lorient in 2021 for €10 million and has since established himself as a reliable attacking option. His versatility and goal-scoring ability make him a valuable target for Tottenham, who are keen to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season.
Despite Tottenham’s interest, Brentford is expected to drive a hard bargain for their key forward, setting the stage for intense negotiations in the days ahead as Spurs look to finalize the deal.
Already, Brentford manager Thomas Frank has made it clear that the club does not plan to transfer Yoane Wissa in this window.
