Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move to sign German forward of Senegalese descent, Leroy Sane.
Sane remains a player of German giants Bayern Munich, but his contract will expire on June 30, 2025.
According to information gathered, the 29-year-old’s new agent, Pini Zahavi, has initiated discussions with several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal and Chelsea.
Among them, Spurs are reportedly leading the chase for the dynamic forward and could secure his services this summer.
Sane is currently enjoying his off-season in London, where his wife, Candice Brooks, is based. Tottenham’s return to the UEFA Champions League is also believed to be a major draw for the former Manchester City man.
Bayern Munich are keen to resolve Sane’s future before the squad departs for the FIFA Club World Cup on June 10. Reports suggest that Zahavi will travel to Munich this week for critical negotiations with the club’s hierarchy.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are sticking to the contract offer and have no plan to increase the financial benefits.
