Tottenham Hotspurs have become the latest club to show interest in Cameroon international attacker Bryan Mbeumo.
The highly-rated forward has become a subject of interest for several clubs in Europe following a stellar campaign with Brentford in the just ended season.
Tottenham have identified Mbeumo as the perfect player to solidify their attack heading into the new campaign.
While Manchester United have firm interest in the forward, Tottenham is making a move for the services of the Cameroonian striker this summer.
Tottenham have opened initial talks with Brentford regarding the signing of Mbeumo. The forward is said to be interested in a move to the North London, as he eye a reunion with Brentford manager Thomas Frank at the club.
Previously, it was thought that Mbeumo was keen on a move to Manchester United, but the appointment of the Danish manager has given Tottenham confidence in completing the deal. The Red Devils’ previous offer was rejected, but Old Trafford remains determined to fight for the Cameroonian international.
