The German newspaper Bild has unveiled Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in acquiring the services of Omar Marmoush, the Egyptian national team player currently with Eintracht Frankfurt, in the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to Bild, “Tottenham is keen on signing Omar Marmoush in the upcoming summer transfer window.”
The newspaper added, “Eintracht Frankfurt values Marmoush at approximately €30 million and will not consider parting ways with him for a sum less than that.”
The German club announced, through its official website, that Marmoush has been granted permission to be absent from training upon his return from Côte d’Ivoire with the Egyptian national team.
The club stated that Marmoush is currently suffering from a cold and has requested to stay in Egypt for recovery before rejoining his team.
Eintracht Frankfurt is gearing up to face Cologne next Saturday in the 20th round of the German league.
Omar Marmoush has had an impressive season with Frankfurt, participating in 25 matches across all competitions, scoring 12 goals, and providing 3 assists.
Marmoush also represented Egypt in the Africa Cup of Nations, scoring a goal against Ghana before the national team exited the continental competition in the Round of 16 against the Democratic Republic of Congo.
