Tottenham Hotspur are weighing a potential move for Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané as the German international approaches the final year of his contract.
With Sané’s future at the Allianz Arena uncertain, Spurs have reportedly intensified efforts to secure his signature ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
The north London club, fresh from their Europa League triumph, are looking to bolster their attacking options in preparation for next season’s campaign.
Sané, who joined Bayern from Manchester City in 2020, is understood to be attracting interest from several clubs.
However, according to German journalist Christian Falk, veteran agent Fali Ramadani has been collaborating with Fini Zahavi to explore a potential transfer to Tottenham.
Zahavi, a prominent figure in European football circles, is said to be instrumental in facilitating the deal.
French journalist Santi Aouna has also suggested that Tottenham are currently the frontrunners in the race to sign the 28-year-old.
While no formal agreement has yet been reached, negotiations are reportedly progressing, with the Premier League club keen to finalise a deal as soon as possible.
Sané’s contract with Bayern Munich is set to expire in 2025, and with no extension agreed, the Bundesliga giants may opt to sell this summer rather than risk losing him on a free transfer next year.
Bayern, who are in a transitional period after a disappointing season, could look to reshape their squad, and Sané’s potential departure may form part of that rebuild.

For Tottenham, the possible arrival of Sané would represent a major coup.
The former Schalke winger offers a wealth of experience, pace, and creativity—qualities that align with manager Ange Postecoglou’s high-tempo attacking philosophy.
His familiarity with the Premier League, having previously spent four seasons at Manchester City, further strengthens his appeal.
Sané scored nine goals and registered 12 assists in all competitions for Bayern last season, underlining his enduring threat in the final third.
His addition to Tottenham’s squad would not only reinforce their wing options but also signal their intent to compete on multiple fronts in the 2025–26 season.
A final decision on Sané’s future is expected soon, with Tottenham hopeful of completing the transfer before the start of pre-season preparations.
