Tottenham manager André Villas-Boas has announced that striker Emmanuel Adebayor will train with the club’s reserve team upon his return from personal leave in Togo. Adebayor was granted permission to stay in Togo until Monday to address family issues following the death of his brother. Villas-Boas mentioned that Adebayor won’t be part of the squad against Norwich and will train with the reserve team until necessary to reinstate him with the professional squad. The Togolese striker faced transfer speculation during the summer but remains part of the registered squads for both the Premier League and UEFA for the current season.
