Good news for Tottenham Hotspur fans as Emmanuel Adebayor, the Togolese striker, is on the path to recovery. Adebayor, who was unavailable due to a knee injury in the previous match against Wigan, returned to training on Thursday. Tottenham’s manager, Andre Villas-Boas, provided an optimistic update, stating, “Ade is better after a little knee pain. If all goes well, he will be in the squad.”
Villas-Boas also addressed the situation of midfielder Moussa Dembélé, of Malian origin, who had to leave the match against Wigan. The manager mentioned, “Moussa is going to train this Friday. Afterwards, we will see.”
With Adebayor likely to be back in action, Tottenham is gearing up for their upcoming match against Southampton on Saturday. Currently sitting in 5th place in the Premier League, having key players back in the lineup will be crucial for their continued push in the competition.
