Hugo Lloris, currently under contract with Tottenham until 2016, is reportedly considering a move away from the club. According to Mercato365, the French goalkeeper is frustrated with the high number of goals conceded by Spurs in the Premier League (44 goals conceded in the league).
Privately, the French international is said to regret the perceived lack of ambition within the club under current manager Tim Sherwood, as well as the apparent lack of desire among some of his teammates.
Following the departure of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid, Tottenham made significant investments in the transfer market, but with limited success so far. Players like Roberto Soldado (Valencia), Erik Lamela (AS Roma), and Christian Eriksen (Ajax Amsterdam) have yet to live up to expectations.
However, Lloris may need to secure a transfer before openly expressing his desire to leave. Paris Saint-Germain has shown interest in the goalkeeper, although Salvatore Sirigu’s position remains secure. Atletico Madrid is also mentioned as a potential destination, especially if Thibaut Courtois departs (currently on loan from Chelsea).
For now, Lloris must wait for developments in his future.
