Tosin Adarabioyo believes Chelsea’s maturity and focus have been key in hitting their season targets, as the Blues gear up for their Club World Cup opener against LAFC on Monday.
Despite being one of the youngest squads in Europe, Adarabioyo is confident the team has shown enough growth to compete with the best. The centre-back praised the daily intensity at Cobham and the squad’s strong mentality.
“I think we just kept going on every day,” Adarabioyo said. “The workouts were at a high level every day.”
“We are a mature troupe and have played at a high level throughout the season. We have achieved our goals.” he added.
Chelsea sealed Champions League qualification and now turn their focus to global silverware. The Club World Cup offers the perfect stage for the West London side to showcase their progress and hunger for success.
Adarabioyo, has quietly become a key presence in Chelsea’s backline, and his calm leadership could be vital as the team takes on the challenge other clubs.
