Torino have joined the race to sign Senegal goalkeeper Yehvann Diouf from Stade Reims in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old shot stopper is currently on the radar of both Torino and RC Lens, who are keen on securing his services this summer. In the recently concluded campaign, he made 34 appearances, conceding 47 goals and keeping 7 clean sheets in the Ligue 1.

Lens, who had expressed to sign the goalkeeper now face a tough competition, with Torino joining the race for the shot stopper.

According to reports, Torino have opened talks to sign the goalkeeper and are preparing to outbid Lens in the race to secure his services.

Lens had made Diouf a priority target to replace Brice Samba, but the Artois club are unwilling to meet Reims’ €10m asking price.

The Champagne region club were recently relegated to Ligue 2 but are reportedly refusing to sell at a discount – especially with a potential reprieve on the horizon should Lyon’s legal battle over DNCG rulings end in demotion.

Torino have already initiated discussions with Diouf’s representatives and Reims, viewing the Senegal international as the ideal replacement for Vanja Milinković-Savić.

The Serbian stopper is expected to depart this summer after a standout 2024/25 campaign, with Napoli, Monaco, and several Premier League clubs showing interest.
