The Togo Junior national team is currently in the process of preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. In their second preparatory match, they faced Dynamic Togolais, a team from Togo’s first division, at the Lomé municipal stadium. The match ended in a 2-2 draw.
Trailing 1-0 at halftime, the Togo Junior team conceded another goal early in the second half. However, they showed resilience and managed to reduce the deficit before eventually equalizing ten minutes before the end of the match. Despite having a chance to win with a penalty kick, Degli Messan failed to convert.
Adam Fazazi, the coach of the Togo Junior team, acknowledged that there are areas to improve, especially in central defense. However, he expressed confidence that the team will be ready before their upcoming match against Equatorial Guinea.
This was the second preparatory match for the Togo Junior team, following a previous 2-2 draw against Agaza Omnisport de Lomé. Their next match is scheduled against AS Douanes of Togo on Sunday. The Togo Junior team will then face Equatorial Guinea on April 6 in the first leg of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers for their category.
