Three clubs in France have joined the race to sign French-Cameroonian defender Sacha Boey.
The clubs include Olympique Marseille, OGC Nice, and Olympique Lyon.
As already reported by Africasoccer, Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray are already in contact with Bayern Munich for the signing of the defender.
Information gathered from Turkish outlets indicates that Galatasaray are waiting for FC Bayern’s final decision regarding Sacha Boey.
If Bayern Munich decide to sell the Frenchman in the summer transfer window, the Turkish top club will offer a one-season loan with an option to buy.
Sacha Boey, 24, joined Bayern Munich from Galatasaray for €30 million in January 2024.
Unfortunately, injuries have not allowed him to live up to expectations. He is now facing an uncertain future at the club heading into the summer transfer window.
Galatasaray, aware of Boey’s situation, are ready to offer him a way out and wants to secure his services as part of plans to strengthen their squad for the 2025/26 football season.
In the latest development, the race to sign the defender is about to heat up as Marseille, Lyon, and OGC Nice have also joined the race to sign Boey.
