Tenton Yenne: Nigeria winger swaps Baltika for Van Spor FK in loan move
Nigeria winger Tenton Yenne has joined Van Spor FK from Baltika on loan, giving the Turkish 1.Lig club a new option on the left side of attack.
The 26-year-old completed the move on 4 September 2026 and will remain with Van Spor FK until 30 June 2027. Yenne is a left winger who favours his right foot and arrives after making three appearances for Baltika at the start of the 2026-27 campaign.
He played twice in the Russian Cup and once in the Premier Liga, collecting 96 minutes across those matches. Yenne did not score or provide an assist in those appearances.
The move takes him from Russia’s top division to Turkey’s second tier, where he will continue his career with Van Spor FK. He joined Baltika from Armenian club Ararat-Armenia on a free transfer in July 2025.
Yenne spent two seasons with Ararat-Armenia after moving from SC Noravank in 2022. During his time in Armenia, he won the Armenian Cup twice, first with SC Noravank in the 2021-22 season and then with Ararat-Armenia in 2023-24.
His 2023-24 campaign also brought individual recognition, as he was named Player of the Year in the Armenian First League. That season marked the latest major achievement in a career that began with clubs in Slovakia before his move to Armenia.
Born in Jos, Nigeria, Yenne developed through Trencin’s youth system and later played for GBS Academy, FK Senica and MSK Zilina B. He moved into senior football with Senica in 2019 and joined SC Noravank in February 2022.
Van Spor FK will have Yenne available as a wide attacking player throughout the loan period, while Baltika retain his registration. His market value is listed at €600,000, following a previous high of €700,000.
Yenne’s loan to Van Spor FK is in place until 30 June 2027, when he is due to return to Baltika.
