Olympique de Béja has announced Tarek Jarraya as its new head coach, following the amicable departure of Kais Zouaghi late on Sunday night.
This marks yet another change in the club’s coaching staff in what has been a season of notable instability.
Jarraya becomes the fourth coach to take the reins at Olympique de Béja since the season began. The club initially started with Nacef Bayaoui, who was replaced by Yamen Zelfani.
Zelfani departed just over a month ago for a role in Iraq with Diyala SC, paving the way for Zouaghi’s short tenure, which has now concluded.
The constant rotation in leadership has left Béja struggling to find consistency on the pitch.
Despite moments of promise, the team currently sits sixth in the league standings, amassing only 18 points so far this season.
This latest appointment underlines the challenges the club faces in achieving technical stability and improving its performance.
Tarek Jarraya, who brings considerable experience, will have the task of steadying the ship and guiding the team to better results as the season progresses.
The Béjaois club’s leadership hopes that Jarraya’s tenure will bring the much-needed continuity and success that has eluded them during this tumultuous campaign.
