Tamer Mustafa takes charge to revive struggling Ismaily

Ismaily SC has appointed Tamer Mustafa as the new head coach, tasking him with steering the team out of its struggles in the Egyptian Premier League.

Currently sitting 16th in the league with just 14 points from 17 matches, Ismaily is in desperate need of a turnaround. The club confirmed the appointment on its official Facebook page, stating: “Tamer Mustafa is a technical manager … so let’s welcome the new leader of the Dervishes.”

Sources within the club revealed to Kooora that Mustafa’s backroom staff will include Ahmed Siddiq as the general coach, Ahmed Al-Jamal and Abdullah Al-Shahat as assistant coaches, Mohamed Younis handling goalkeeper training, and Tunisian Ayman Habibi overseeing physical preparation.

Ismaily’s last outing ended in a 2-2 draw against Zed FC under interim coach Imad Suleiman. With an upcoming clash against Tala’ea El Gaish, Mustafa’s first challenge will be to inject fresh energy into the squad and secure a much-needed victory.
