Taarabt Eyes QPR Return to Form After Milan Loan and Redknapp Criticism
After a loan spell at AC Milan earlier this year, Adel Taarabt had hoped for a permanent move to the Rossoneri. However, the Italian club did not pursue a transfer, and the Moroccan playmaker returned to Queens Park Rangers, where his situation has remained uncertain.
Taarabt has struggled to convince QPR manager Harry Redknapp of his fitness and commitment. The coach publicly criticized the midfielder’s physical condition, casting doubt on his role in the team. But the tone has since softened.
During a recent press conference, relayed by the club’s official Twitter account, Redknapp offered a more hopeful outlook:
“I had a very interesting discussion with Adel. He wants to get back into shape and get back into the team.”
Redknapp noted that Taarabt had trained very hard during the week and added:
“As soon as he is fit, I am sure he will be an important player for us.”
With the January transfer window approaching, AC Milan and other interested clubs now have a clearer picture of Taarabt’s current status—and whether he may become available once again.
