Napoli have tabled a multi-layered offer to sign Bologna’s Dan Ndoye, stepping ahead of Nottingham Forest in the race for the Swiss-born Senegalese wing-back.
The 23-year-old, who played a key role in Bologna’s Champions League qualification two seasons ago, has drawn interest across Europe for his versatility and work rate.
While Forest are reported to be in advanced talks with the Serie A side, Napoli have now emerged with a more substantial proposal.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli’s bid is valued at around €40 million, factoring in bonuses and future obligations.
The structure includes an immediate €9 million loan fee, followed by an obligation to buy at €26 million, plus €5 million in performance-related add-ons.
This offer aligns with Antonio Conte’s tactical blueprint as the Napoli boss looks to strengthen the flanks ahead of the new season.
Ndoye, who can operate as a wing-back or wide midfielder, is considered a primary target in Conte’s summer rebuild.
Despite Napoli’s approach, Bologna are holding firm on their €45 million valuation. Nottingham Forest, meanwhile, have reportedly submitted a €30 million bid, which is now seen as falling short in both financial and structural terms.
With pre-season already underway and Ndoye currently training with Bologna, a decision is expected in the coming days as the two suitors press for a breakthrough.
