Swiss-Congolese midfielder Denis Zakaria likely to miss AS Monaco’s clash against Stade Brestois

Swiss midfielder of Congolese descent, Denis Zakaria is a doubt for AS Monaco’s upcoming game against Stade Brestois in the French Ligue 1.

The captain of the club is likely to miss the match due to some pain he is feeling.

According to AS Monaco manager Adi Hutter, Denis Zakaria feels pain, although it is not expected to rule him out of action for a long time.

Due to the pain and fatigue, it is possible that the manager will go into the match against Stade Brestois without Denis Zakaria.

Another player who could miss the upcoming game for AS Monaco is France-born Congolese teenager Christian Mawissa.

The defender has not trained fully with his teammates and is likely to be left out of the matchday squad for the game against Stade Brestois.

Meanwhile, Jordan Teze, Soungoutou Magasssa, and Kassoum Ouattara have all recovered from their injuries ahead of the game against Stade Brestois, providing a major squad boost for AS Monaco.

The match between AS Monaco and Stade Brestois is scheduled for Saturday, April 5.
