Swedish-Cameroonian Anthony Elanga reflects on Manchester United exit and Nottingham Forest success

Nottingham Forest winger Anthony Elanga has expressed his satisfaction with his decision to leave Manchester United, insisting that his move was the right choice.

In an interview with Fotbollskanalen, the Swedish international, who has been attracting interest from several high-profile European clubs, made it clear that he has no regrets about his departure from Old Trafford.

“United is one of the best teams in the world. I still love the club. I watch their games, and they will always have a special place in my heart,” Elanga said.

“It hurts a little when they struggle, but I think I made the right decision. I’m happy with my choice.”

Focused on Success with Nottingham Forest

Since joining Nottingham Forest, Elanga has been a key figure for the club, and his performances have not gone unnoticed.

Despite speculation surrounding his future, the 21-year-old remains committed to his current team.

“If I have a good season, there will always be teams interested, but for now, I’m at Nottingham, and I’m happy here,” he said.

“The team is doing well, and our aim is to finish as high as possible in the table. We have the potential to achieve even more.

So far, we’ve done a great job.”

“People are talking about Europe, but the season is long,” he added. “We have to keep winning and maintain our momentum.I’m always looking to achieve more.”

Elanga’s positive outlook and strong performances have cemented his place in Nottingham Forest’s squad, and as the season progresses, he will be hoping to further showcase his talent on the pitch.
