Arsenal’s pursuit of a striker has led them to consider Mario Balotelli as a potential target for the upcoming transfer window. After unsuccessful attempts to sign other forwards like Higuain, Suarez, or Rooney, Arsène Wenger reportedly met with Mario Balotelli’s agent, Mino Raiola, to discuss a possible move. According to reports from Footballmag, Puma, Arsenal’s new kit supplier and also associated with Balotelli, is willing to contribute €20 million to facilitate the transfer.
Although Balotelli was linked with Arsenal during the winter transfer window, no deal materialized. However, the Gunners may revisit their interest in the summer. Notably, Arsenal might face competition from Chelsea, as Mourinho’s side also expressed interest in acquiring the services of “Super Mario” during the January window.
