Mr. Omar Sadeq Al-Dabi, the President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports in the White Nile State, and Mr. Essam Abdeljabbar, the Executive Director of Qali Locality, witnessed the inauguration of the sporting event in the Tawila area.
The event, organized by the youth of Tawila, commemorates the martyr of the Battle of Dignity, Abdulqader Mohamed Saeed, and involves the participation of six sports teams.
In his address at the opening of the event, Mr. Omar Al-Dabi, commended the armed forces who sacrificed their lives for the land and honor.
He acknowledged the historical significance of the family of the late Abdulqader Mohamed Saeed and their national role.
Al-Dabi praised the youth of the Tawila area for their unity and support for the armed forces in the Battle of Dignity.
He stated that the youth of Tawila are following the path of the martyr until victory is achieved, bringing security and stability to the country.
President Al-Dabi pledged to establish a sub-union in Qali Locality and focus on sports, cultural, and media activities.
On the other hand, Mr. Essam Abdeljabbar, the Executive Director of Qali Locality, commended the youth’s initiative to commemorate the martyr and considered it an extension of activities supporting the armed forces.
He announced the locality’s support for the sporting event with sports equipment and the honoring of outstanding teams.
Representing the family of the martyr Abdulqader Mohamed Saeed, a spokesperson expressed gratitude for the initiative, considering it a tribute to the martyr’s name among the heroes of the Battle of Dignity.
The youth of the Tawila area declared their full support for the armed forces, pledging their commitment in spirit, financial support, and joining the fight until victory is achieved, with the grace of God.
