It seems that the 32 professional Algerian Ligue 1 and 2 teams are facing delays in receiving the promised subsidy. The Ministry of Finance is reportedly seeking better clarity in the allocation of funds and improved budgeting from the Ministry of Sports before releasing the money.
The subsidy, amounting to 25 million dinars (approximately 242,795 euros) per team, was established by the former Minister of Youth and Sports, Hachemi Djiar. However, administrative issues are causing delays, and there are indications that the funds may not be released until January 2013.
Such delays can have implications for the financial stability and planning of the football clubs involved. It remains to be seen how the situation will unfold and when the teams will ultimately receive the promised subsidies.
