Strasbourg ready to cash in on Senegal midfielder Habib Diarra in summer

Diarra Asse Rcsa 2425

Strasbourg are prepared to cash in on Senegal international Habib Diarra as the summer transfer window approaches.

The 21-year-old, who is the captain of the French Ligue 1 side has emerged as one of the most sought-after players heading into the summer window.

Strasbourg, who were initially keen on retaining the enterprising midfielder has rescinded their decision and are ready to transfer the player.

The club has decided not stand in Diarra’s way in the event of an acceptable offer due to financial obligation.

Diarra’s contract with Strasbourg runs until 2028, however, interested clubs would have spend more to secure his signature.

The highly rated midfielder has already attracted interest from clubs in the Premier League including Everton and Brighton and Hove Albion.

Diarra has scored 4 goals and provided 3 assists from 29 appearances across competitions for Strasbourg this season.
