Strasbourg consider Stuttgart winger Bouanani for Ligue 1 return
Algerian-French winger Badredine Bouanani is being linked with a move from Stuttgart to Strasbourg in Ligue 1.
The 21-year-old joined Stuttgart from Nice on 31 August 2025 in a deal worth €15m and has a contract with the Bundesliga club until June 2030. His current market value is listed at €10m, while the proposed transfer is currently assessed at a 37% probability.
Bouanani has yet to make an appearance for Stuttgart this season, with the club having played one Bundesliga match and one DFB-Pokal fixture. He is a right winger who favours his left foot.
A move to Strasbourg would represent a return to France less than a year after Bouanani left Nice. He spent the 2023-24 season on loan at Lorient before returning to Nice, where he remained until completing his transfer to Stuttgart.
The potential switch is being discussed as a move from the Bundesliga to Ligue 1, although there is no indication that an agreement has been reached between the clubs or with the player.
Bouanani remains under contract at Stuttgart for four more seasons, leaving the German club in a strong contractual position should Strasbourg pursue the Algeria and France international further.
