Stellenbosch FC coach Steve Barker confirms departure of captain Sihle Nduli

Stellenbosch FC coach Steve Barker has confirmed the departure of captain Sihle Nduli following the expiration of his contract.

The 29-year-old midfielder is leaving the club after three-year spell with the South African outfit. Sihle Nduli joined Stellenbosch in 2022 and established himself as key member of the team.

Following the expiration of his contract, both parties have decided to go separate ways. He will have to find himself a new club before next season.

“Sihle embodies everything we value – leadership, passion, and commitment. While we’re sad to see him go, we support this next chapter in his career.” Said Barker.

Sihle Nduli was instrumental for Stellenbosch, who finished third on the Premier League standings at the end of the season.

The midfielder, who made 23 appearances for the South African outfit has been linked with a move to Orlando Pirates.
