Back on the pitch after recovering from injury, Frédéric Bulot is regaining playing time with Standard Liège. The Gabonese forward, who represents the Gabon national team, endured a season plagued by physical setbacks. However, the former Monaco player is now gradually returning to form.
“I had a promising start to the season, but then physical issues arose, sidelining me for two months,” Bulot explained, as reported by La Derniere Heure. “Despite limited playing time, I managed to score three goals (in the Europa League) and provide six assists, which, in terms of efficiency, is decent. However, maintaining rhythm was more challenging.”
Acknowledging the difficulties he faced throughout his second season with Standard Liège, the 23-year-old reflects on a challenging period marked by repeated injuries. “This has been one of the toughest seasons of my young career, but I won’t be deterred. I believe I possess the qualities to return to peak performance. One day, I’ll regain my best form, that’s certain.”
