A deadlock with two goals apiece defined the match between Arab Contractors and Modern Future, held today, Monday, in the Egyptian Premier League for the current 2023-2024 season.
The two teams clashed at the Cairo International Stadium as part of the 13th round of the Nile League.
Modern Future opened the scoring with a well-placed header into the net by Alaa Zezooa in the 12th minute, setting an early advantage for their side.
However, Mohammed Salem equalized for Arab Contractors in the 33rd minute, capitalizing on a precise pass from his teammate Mohammed Magli, slotting the ball into the bottom right corner of the net.
Ahmed Atef added a second goal for Modern Future in the 36th minute with a clinical finish into the bottom right corner, only for Joseph Ochaya to snatch another equalizer for the Mountain Wolves in the 45+9th minute.
With this result, Modern Future reached 14 points, securing the 11th position, while Arab Contractors settled in 16th place with 8 points.
