French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais FC are interested in signing Senegalese midfielder Habib Diarra.
The youngster has been with Racing Strasbourg since 2018 and has become a key member of the team.
Habib Diarra, now captain of Strasbourg, has a contract with the club that runs until 2028.
Despite being happy with the 21-year-old, Strasbourg are reportedly open to sanctioning his transfer.
Ahead of the summer transfer window, it is understood that several clubs are lining up to try and sign Habib Diarra.
Stade Rennais FC are one of such clubs. The team is determined to recruit Habib to strengthen their squad for the 2025/26 football season and beyond.
In the ongoing season, the midfielder has scored four goals and provided five assists after making 29 appearances in the French Ligue 1.
He is expected to assess his options on the table before deciding on any move in the summer transfer window.
