Sporting Braga, the Portuguese club, has confirmed the transfer of Libyan star Muatassim El Mistrati to Besiktas, the Turkish club, during the current winter transfer window, on a loan basis until the end of the current season.
Besiktas holds the right to purchase Muatassim El Mistrati’s contract. Sporting Braga stated via its official website on Friday that the terms of Muatassim El Mistrati’s transfer stipulate Besiktas paying €1 million immediately, in addition to €11 million if they wish to buy the player’s contract after the loan period expires.
Moreover, Besiktas will pay an additional €2.5 million based on the goals achieved by the player with the Turkish club, making the total value of the deal €12 million, along with an extra €2.5 million based on the goals scored.
Sporting Braga noted that Libyan star Muatassim El Mistrati joined their ranks in a free transfer deal during the 2020-2021 season.
He played 151 matches for the club, scoring 15 goals. He also won the Portuguese Cup titles in the 2020-2021 and 2023-2024 seasons.
