Spain-born teenager of Senegalese descent, Ousmane Diallo, will have the opportunity to show his worth for the Borussia Dortmund first team during pre-season.
The 17-year-old was signed by Dortmund from Deportivo Alavés in the summer of 2023. Since then, he has been steadily rising through the ranks of the BVB youth setup.
According to information gathered, Diallo will be part of Dortmund’s summer preparations under head coach Niko Kovac, training alongside the club’s top professionals.
The 2024/25 campaign saw Diallo impress with Borussia Dortmund’s U19 side, making 30 appearances and contributing 11 goals and 7 assists.
He also featured five times for the club’s U23 team in Germany’s third division, showcasing his ability at a higher level.
In an interview earlier this year, Diallo shared his ambitions, insisting that he wants to make a mark in the Dortmund first team.
“I am very happy at Borussia and my wish is to get into the first team, to play at the Signal Iduna Park, in a Champions League game,” he told Marca.
