Spain international of Morocco descent Lamine Yamal has reached a new milestone at Barcelona following his involvement in the Champions League clash against Inter Milan.
Yamal played his 100th match for Barcelona on Wednesday night as the side settled for a 3-3 draw at the Olympic Stadium.
Out of the 100 games, Yamal has scored 22 goals and delivered 33 assists for the club and is gradually etching his name into the history books of the Spanish giants.
The 17-year-old lasted the entire duration of the match and delivered a top-class performance, inspiring the sides’ comeback draw.
Yamal tormented Inter Milan defense, particularly, Dimarco, who had to be subbed off for Carlos Agusto. He scored a classy goal as his outfit shared the spoils in the thrilling clash.
This season, Yamal has scored 15 goals and provided 24 assists in 49 appearances for Barcelona across competitions.
Yamal was introduced into the senior team under then manager Xavi Hernandez and has since established himself as a key member of the team.
