Spalletti pushes Juventus to re-sign French-Congolese Randal Kolo Muani from Tottenham
Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti has set his sights on bolstering his attacking line and is reportedly pressing the club to bring Randal Kolo Muani back from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
The 27-year-old French striker, currently on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, is the coach’s preferred target to strengthen the centre-forward position.
Kolo Muani previously featured for Juventus during the second half of last season, impressing with his movement and finishing. A permanent deal was discussed at the time, but negotiations fell through due to disagreements over terms.
With his contract at PSG running until 2028, any potential transfer will require careful navigation, though Spalletti appears determined to make it happen.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus view Kolo Muani as a key piece for their future plans, regardless of the situation surrounding Dusan Vlahovic. Vlahovic’s contract expires at the end of the season, leaving the club with a decision on whether to extend, sell, or replace him. Spalletti’s insistence on securing Kolo Muani suggests the club is preparing for multiple scenarios in attack.
The French striker’s loan stint at Tottenham has offered him additional top-flight experience in the Premier League, but Juventus are eager to rekindle the productive spell he had in Turin.
Bringing him back would provide Spalletti with the versatility and goal threat that has been lacking at times this season.
As the summer transfer window approaches, Juventus will need to balance negotiations with PSG, Tottenham, and their own squad strategy to fulfill Spalletti’s demand.
The club’s front office is reportedly aligned with the coach on the need to reinforce the attack, making Kolo Muani a priority target.
