South African outfit Kaizer Chiefs have parted ways with attacker Ranga Chivaviro following the expiration of his contract.

The Soweto giants are embarking on a massive squad overhaul following an inconsistent performance in the recently campaign. Despite ending their 10-year trophy drought, the club appears not to be impressed with their performance, having missed out on the top eight finish.

With his contract expiring on June 30, Kaizer Chiefs and the attacker have decided to go separate ways.

Chivaviro becomes the third player to leave Chiefs during the off-season, following Sabelo Radebe and Njabulo Blom.

Over the past two years, the striker made 45 appearances for Kaizer Chiefs and scored nine goals.

Having parted ways with Kaizer Chiefs, the attacker is expected to find himself a new club heading into the new campaign.
