South African goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma is facing an uncertain future at Kaizer Chiefs as the summer transfer window approaches.
The 30-year-old shot stopper, who has three caps for the Bafana Bafana has faced significant criticism throughout the season after a string of unimpressive performances.
Before this campaign, Kaizer Chiefs had conceded a total of 30 goals in 30 games during the 2023/24 season. However, in the current season, the Amakhosi has conceded 32 goals in 27 league matches, sparking concerns about the defense of the club.
Goalkeeper, Bruce Bvuma is at the centre of criticism, having recorded just sic clean sheets in 19 league appearances.
In an attempt to resolve defense crisis, the club has targeted two goalkeepers heading into the summer transfer window, posing threats to the South African shot stopper.
According to reports, Kaizer Chiefs are considering signing Salim Magoola from Richards Bay and Stanley Nwabali from Chippa United, although the option of recruiting Jigi Diarra from Tanzania’s Young Africans cannot be ruled out either.
