South African giants Orlando Pirates leading race to sign in-demand AmaZulu winger Tshepang Moremi
South African giants Orlando Pirates are leading the race to sign in-demand AmaZulu FC attacker Tshepang Moremi this summer.
The 24-year-old winger has emerged as a top transfer target for several clubs in South Africa including Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs.
Tshepang Moremi performed admirably for AmaZulu in the recently concluded campaign, racking four goals and delivering seven assists in 36 appearances across competitions, helping his team secure a sixth-place finish in the league table.
The striker has also earned a call-up to the South African national team for the fixtures against Tanzania and Mozambique this month.
His outstanding performance in the just ended season did not go unnoticed, earning significant interest from top clubs in the South African top-flight.
Currently, Orlando Pirates are leading the race to secure the signature of the highly-rated winger. It is said that the deal could hinge not only on financial terms but also on the possibility of a player swap.
Per reports, much will depend on how the negotiations unfold between both parties. However, AmaZulu may demand cash or push for a player exchange.
