Brest defender Soumaïla Coulibaly has hinted at the possibility of representing Mali at the international level, despite previously playing for France’s Under-20 side.
Following Brest’s 3-0 Champions League defeat to Real Madrid on Wednesday, Coulibaly was asked about potential discussions with the Malian Football Federation (Femafoot) regarding a switch of allegiance.

Coulibaly, who recently returned from injury, has now started consecutive matches for Brest, and his performances could put him on Mali’s radar ahead of future international fixtures.
