Slask Wroclaw bring in Ieltsin Camoes from Troms IL on loan

Cape Verde-Portugal centre-forward Ieltsin Camoes has joined Slask Wroclaw from Norwegian club Troms IL on loan, completing a move to Poland’s Ekstraklasa.

The 27-year-old joins Slask after spending the first part of the 2026-27 season with Troms IL, where he made six appearances in European qualifying competitions. Camoes provided one assist across four UEFA Conference League qualifying matches, while also featuring twice in Europa League qualifying.

Camoes began his senior career in Portugal with Maritimo B before moving to Uniao Almeirim in 2020. He later had spells with Alverca B and Swedish club Skelleftea FF, joining Brage on a free transfer in February 2023.

His move to Troms IL followed in February 2025, when the Norwegian club signed him from Brage for €250,000. Camoes spent the 2025-26 campaign on loan at Al Ahly, before returning to Troms IL at the end of that temporary spell in June.

The striker is listed at 1.88m and is predominantly right-footed. He now moves from Norway’s Eliteserien to Poland’s top division, with Slask adding a forward who has experience in qualifying matches in both of UEFA’s secondary club competitions.

Camoes holds Cape Verdean and Portuguese nationality and was born in Luanda. His arrival gives Slask another centre-forward option as the club begins its domestic campaign and continues its 2026-27 season.

The loan agreement takes Camoes to Slask Wroclaw until 30 June 2027.
