German-born defender of Ivorian descent Karim Coulibaly has emerged as one of the most sought-after young talents in Europe, with multiple clubs tracking his situation ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to reports from Fabrizio Romano and German outlet BILD, at least six European clubs are preparing moves for the Werder Bremen centre-back, who has impressed with his performances this season.

Among the clubs showing strong interest is Newcastle United, with the Premier League side reportedly viewing the 18-year-old as a long-term defensive prospect. They are, however, expected to face stiff competition from five other top European teams also keen on securing his signature.

Coulibaly has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in the Bundesliga, making 22 appearances and scoring once. His composure, physical presence, and maturity at such a young age have marked him out as one of the most promising defenders in the league.

With interest continuing to grow, Werder Bremen could face a difficult battle to retain the young talent, as clubs across Europe position themselves for what is shaping up to be a competitive race for his signature.
