Simba SC signs assistant coach from Raja CA
This significant move sees Davids stepping into a new role as head coach for the Tanzanian club starting next season.
The announcement was made on Simba SC’s official social media page, marking a new chapter for the club and for Davids, who had a remarkable stint with Raja CA.
Under his and Zinnbauer’s guidance, Raja achieved a historic double, clinching both the Moroccan Professional League title and the Throne Cup.
In a heartfelt farewell message on Instagram, Davids expressed his mixed emotions about leaving Raja CA. “Dear Raja family, with a heavy heart, I announce my departure from this amazing club after a record-breaking season.
It has been an honor to help lead the team to unprecedented success and achieve milestones that will be forever etched in the history books,” he wrote.
Davids’ departure marks the end of an era for Raja CA, where his contributions were instrumental in the team’s recent successes.
His strategic acumen and ability to work seamlessly with the players and coaching staff have been widely acknowledged.
Simba SC, a dominant force in Tanzanian football, will be looking to leverage Davids’ expertise and experience to achieve new heights in the upcoming season.
His track record with Raja CA, especially in achieving a double victory, is expected to bring a fresh perspective and dynamic approach to the Simba SC squad.
