It has been revealed that Sidahmed Aissaoui, the talented 19-year-old midfielder from USM Alger, is set to join the ranks of Russian club CSKA Moscow during the winter transfer window in a deal worth $150,000.
Aissaoui, a rising star in Algerian football, caught the attention of CSKA Moscow’s leadership, who have been keenly interested in acquiring his services.
Trained by the Algerian Football Federation academy and subsequently making his mark with USM Alger for the past two years, Aissaoui’s promising talent has not gone unnoticed.
Negotiations between the two clubs commenced earlier, with the former management of USM Alger initially declining a 6-month loan offer with a purchase option.
Sid Ahmed Arab, the former president of USMA, insisted that a direct sale of the player was the only acceptable option.
After days of deliberation, CSKA Moscow’s management has now acceded to this preference.
The Russian club finalized the deal on Monday, January 29, committing to a transfer fee of $150,000 payable to USMA.
In a noteworthy aspect of the agreement, USMA will receive 25% of any future resale of the promising midfielder.
Currently engaged in training with the Algerian under-20 national team, Sidahmed Aissaoui will make his way to Moscow once the training camp concludes.
Known for his exceptional technical skills, the Blida native operates as a playmaker and has distinguished himself as one of the standout performers for the USM Alger reserve team this season.
As Aissaoui embarks on this exciting new chapter with CSKA Moscow, football enthusiasts eagerly anticipate witnessing the progression of this emerging talent on the international stage.
