Kasımpaşa secured a much-needed 2-1 victory over Alanyaspor in the Turkish Süper Lig, with Senegalese forward Mamadou Fall playing a crucial role by opening the scoring.
Kasımpaşa Back to Winning Ways
After a difficult spell in which they failed to win any of their last four league matches, Kasımpaşa finally turned their fortunes around with a determined performance on Saturday.
The visitors, who had struggled for form in recent weeks, displayed resilience to claim all three points and strengthen their position in the league.
Fall Breaks the Deadlock
Mamadou Fall put Kasımpaşa ahead in the 30th minute, capitalizing on a well-worked attacking move to score his seventh goal of the season.
The 33-year-old, who has been one of the club’s standout performers, gave his side the early momentum they needed.
Just six minutes later, Haris Hajradinovic doubled the lead from the penalty spot, giving Kasımpaşa a comfortable advantage.
However, Alanyaspor responded swiftly, with Tonny Vilhena finding the net in the 38th minute to reduce the deficit before halftime.
Resolute Second-Half Display
Despite Alanyaspor’s efforts to find an equalizer, Kasımpaşa held firm in the second half, effectively managing their lead to secure their first victory in five matches.
The win moves them closer to the top half of the table as they aim to finish the season strongly.
With Fall continuing to impress, Kasımpaşa will look to build on this performance in their upcoming fixtures.
