FIFA has appointed a team of Senegalese referees to officiate the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifying match between Madagascar and Ghana in Group I.
Issa Sy will serve as the centre referee, with compatriots Djibril Camara and Bangoura Nouha acting as assistant referees, while Elhadji Amadou Sy takes on the role of fourth official.
The experienced Issa Sy has overseen several high-profile international fixtures, including World Cup qualifiers and AFCON matches.
Mauritian Lim Kee Chong An Yan has been named referee assessor, while Liberia’s Brown Ivan Gartor will act as the match commissioner.
The fixture is set to take place at the Grand Stade d’Al Hoceima in Morocco on Monday, 24 March 2025, with kick-off scheduled for 19:00 local time.
Ghana, currently second in Group I with nine points from four matches, will be seeking to bounce back following an eight-game winless streak.
Madagascar, meanwhile, are bottom of the group with no victories so far, leaving their hopes of qualification all but extinguished.
