Hellas Verona will be without Senegalese midfielder Cheikh Niasse and Marco Davide Faraoni for their upcoming Serie B clash against Parma after both players sustained muscle injuries.
The club confirmed the results of medical examinations on Thursday, March 27, 2025, revealing that the duo faces an uncertain recovery timeline.
According to the club’s official statement, Niasse has suffered a first-degree strain in his right biceps femoris, while Faraoni sustained a low-grade injury to his right soleus muscle during training. As a result, both players have been ruled out of Verona’s next fixture on Monday, March 31.
Recovery Timelines Remain Uncertain
Hellas Verona has not set a definitive timeline for their return, stating that their availability will depend on how their injuries progress in the coming days.
“The recovery times of both will be quantifiable based on the evolution of their respective clinical presentations,” the club’s statement read. Medical staff will continue to assess their conditions before providing further updates.
The absence of Niasse and Faraoni presents a significant challenge for Verona’s coaching staff, who will need to adjust their tactical setup in their bid to secure crucial points against Parma.
