Goalkeeper Idrissa Ndiaye, formerly associated with Diambars FC, has officially inked a deal with Nouadhibou FC, a football powerhouse that boasts six-time championship titles in Mauritania. The terms of the 25-year-old Senegalese shot-stopper’s contract have been undisclosed.

Nouadhibou FC, navigating challenges with the absence of Babacar Diop due to injury, has strategically bolstered its squad with the acquisition of Idrissa Ndiaye, a move that underscores the club’s commitment to maintaining its competitive edge in various competitions, including the CAF Champions League and the Mauritanian championship.

Idrissa Ndiaye, recognized for his goalkeeping prowess and experience, is poised to play a pivotal role in Nouadhibou FC’s campaign during the latter half of the season.

The Orange club, based in Nouakchott, looks to leverage Ndiaye’s skills as they pursue success on both domestic and continental fronts.

While the details regarding the duration of Ndiaye’s contract and the nature of his transfer, whether on loan or a permanent move, remain undisclosed, the strategic move signifies Nouadhibou FC’s commitment to reinforcing its squad for the challenges ahead.

The addition of the seasoned Senegalese goalkeeper to Nouadhibou FC’s ranks is anticipated to bring a valuable blend of skill, experience, and depth to the team.

Football enthusiasts await the impact of Idrissa Ndiaye’s presence between the posts as Nouadhibou FC sets its sights on maintaining its championship pedigree and making strides in continental competitions.”
