Senegalese international Moussa Koné has signed a two-year contract with Moroccan side Olympique de Safi, with the transfer valued at €340,000, split across the duration of his stay — €160,000 in the first season and €180,000 in the second.
The 28-year-old striker, a product of the Sacré-Cœur academy in Dakar, arrives in Morocco with an extensive résumé shaped by his years in European football.
Known for his speed, composure, and eye for goal, Koné is expected to add a much-needed attacking threat to Olympique de Safi’s front line as they look to bolster their ambitions in the Moroccan top flight.
Koné’s professional journey has seen him traverse several countries and leagues. In total, Koné has amassed close to 250 professional appearances, scoring 83 goals and providing more than 20 assists. His track record includes several outings in European club competitions, giving him a wealth of experience that Olympique de Safi will hope to tap into.
