For over a decade, the international association of sports press Africa section (AIPS-AFRIQUE) has lacked a fixed headquarters. However, this is set to change as it now has a designated base.
“It will be based in Casablanca, Morocco, with a headquarters agreement signed by the Moroccan authorities shortly,” announced Gustave Samnick, the secretary-general of AIPS-AFRIQUE.
Samnick further elaborated that this development brings good news for African sports journalists, as Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has also decided to sign partnership agreements. These agreements aim to facilitate the travel of African sports journalists around the world.
