Senegal star Nicolas Jackson open to Aston Villa move
Senegal international Nicolas Jackson is interested in joining Premier League outfit Aston Villa in the current transfer window.
Jackson look set to depart Chelsea this summer after falling down the pecking following the arrival of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap.
Aston Villa, who are keen on bolstering their squad for the 2025/26 football campaign are open to signing Jackson.
Meanwhile, the 24-year-old forward is also said to be keen on a move to Aston Villa as he aim to play under manager Unai Emery.
However, Aston Villa face a stumbling block in their pursuit of Jackson. The club are not ready to pay more than £60 million for the signing of the forward, while Chelsea value him at a higher price.
Currently, there have been no official offers between the clubs yet, with everything remaining at the level of speculation.
The 24-year-old joined Chelsea in 2023 from Spanish side Villarreal for an impressive €37 million. Since joining the Blues, Jackson has played 81 matches, scoring 30 goals and providing 12 assists.
Last season, the attacker made 37 appearances but found the net just 13 times, raising questions about his future with the club.
