Senegal will meet Chad on February 21 as part of the first round of qualifying for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The match will be held in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, with the return leg scheduled five days later at the Lat Dior stadium in Thiès, Senegal.
The outcome of this fixture will determine which team advances to the next round, where they will face Ivory Coast, the host nation of the tournament.
In addition to the upcoming qualifier, Senegal is also in preparation for the 2024 Women’s AFCON, which will take place in Morocco from July 5 to 26, 2026.
The Senegalese women’s national team has been placed in Group A alongside the host nation, Zambia, and the DR Congo.
