Oumar Guèye Ndiaye has assumed the role of President of the Professional Football League of Senegal, succeeding Louis Lamotte. Previously serving as the vice-president, Ndiaye received support from various club presidents in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. Oumar Guèye Ndiaye is also the president of Ouakam Sports Union, a football club based in Ouakam, Dakar. The Professional Football League, established in 2009, oversees the Senegalese professional clubs, managing the championships and the Senegalese Football League Cup under the authority of the Senegalese Football Federation.
